The notes are SIGNED BY Ted Rinehart, Stanley Rinehart, John Farrar, and Ogden Nash (whose note begins "Am I particularly stuipid today or is the author particularly baffling? I've been guessing all around the bush unable to make up my mind."). A unique window into thirties mystery writing and publishing. The second Lt. Joseph Kelly mystery. Uncommon title.
