In the very good slipcase with very minor wear, and all in the original, very good card container with complete spine label. ¶ Scarce in this exemplary state. ¶ Notes: Part of the total edition of 1000 copies was printed for the American market and distributed by Museum Books. They differ from the German edition in the preface by Paul Standard and the enclosed booklet in English. ¶.

One of only a few copies specially bound thus for presentation to VIPs, and quite uncommon. Without the rear pocket and booklet. Laid in is a black-and-white photograph of Zapf by the noted New York artist and photographer A. Burton Carnes. A cheerful Zapf is holding the lever of a handpress, drink glass in hand.
