In-plano, 1 feuille pliée en 2, feuille : environ 63 X 97 cm, carte : 49,8 X 79,3 cm, cuvette : 59 X 87,5 cm, Timbre à sec « dépôt de la guerre », Levée par les Officiers… du Corps d'Etat-Major, et publiée par le Dépôt de la Guerre, cette carte assujettie aux observations trigonométriques et astronomiques les plus précises, est accompagnée de tableaux des positions géographiques ainsi que des hauteurs absolues des principaux lieux, Relief représenté par hachures et points cotés. - Coordonnées : en grades par rapport au méridien de Paris ; en degrés par rapport au méridien de Greenwich. - Échelles en mètres, en lieues, en toises. Le Dépôt de la Guerre était le bureau de cartographie et d'archives à intérêt militaire de l'armée française depuis Louis XIV. Créer par Louvois en 1688, dissous à la Révolution, Le service est réorganisé en 1814, puis en 1823. Le 20 novembre 1830, c'est le général baron Pelet qui devient directeur du Dépôt de la guerre. il réorganisa, en les modernisant, les différents et très nombreux services. Il élabore et fait publier la grande carte de France de l'Etat-Major au 1/80 000, en 272 feuilles, Les cartes sont datées de 1832 à 1880, Le dépôt de la guerre est supprimé en 1887.
