Out of "Malerische Ansichten von Österreich, Steyermark, Kärnten, Krain, Salzburg und Tirol". -- in good condition. || Adolph Friedrich Kunike war ein deutsch-österreichischer Lithograph, Zeichner und Verleger. Er wurde 1777 in Greifswald geboren. Er war Schüler an der Wiener Akademie der bildenden Künste. Von 1808 bis 1810 studierte er Historienmalerei in Rom. 1816 lernte Kunike in München Alois Senefelder kennen. Ein Jahr später eröffnete er in Wien seine eigene lithographische Anstalt. Er verlegte vorrangig Portraits und Landschaftsansichten. Sein bekanntestes und umfangreichstes Werk waren die Zwey hundert vier und sechzig Donau-Ansichten nach dem Laufe des Donaustromes von seinem Ursprung bis zu seinem Ausflusse in das Schwarze Meer.
