Introductory sections on biology, classification etc. This copy belonged to the ecologist and ornithologist Bryan Sage- his bookplate inside front cover. Very Good copy. Slight colour fade to spine, bumps to corners. Clean pages with light yellowing to front endpaper; a couple of pages at back have adhered (glossy paper) and in pulling apart have left very small abrasions to text.
