Add to basketPaperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book is a philosophical tale about a prince named Rasselas and his journey to find true happiness. Born and raised in a secluded valley known as the Happy Valley, Rasselas has lived a sheltered and comfortable life, surrounded by all the luxuries one could desire. However, despite the apparent paradise he inhabits, Rasselas feels a void within his soul and a yearning for something more meaningful. The tale explores the many philosophical and religious questions that have plagued mankind for centuries, including the nature of good and evil, the role of religion in society, and the meaning of true happiness. This book is an excellent resource for anyone interested in philosophy and religion. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.
