Paa Kyststrekningen fra Stavangerfjord til Bergen haves fiere let kjendelige Overlandsmaarker, saasom Stor-Bukn et kegleformet Fjeld paa Öen af samme Navn, Spanevarden S.Ö. for Haugesund, Emberlandsfjeld vestenfor, og Dreng, en spids Top östenfor Förrespollen. Siggen, et pyramideformet höit Fjeld paa Midten af Bömmelöen. Paa Östsiden af Stordöen danner Fjeldene en höi jevn Ryg; Stovegolvsfjeld er en liden Forhöining paa den söndre Ende af denne, og Mehammersaata en lignende paa nordre Ende af samme. Den store Snebræ Folgefonden, söndenfor Har-dangerfjord mellem Sörfjord og Aakretjord, kan ogsaa sees fra Söen i klart Veir. Tysnessaata er et meget höit Fjeld paa Nordsiden af Tysnesöen.
