Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book is an analysis of the poem Rosalind and Helen by the renowned Romantic poet. Composed in 1818 during a period of intense political and social upheaval, the poem is preoccupied with themes of reform and individual liberty. The author delves into the multitude of ideas expressed within Rosalind and Helen, examining how they reflect the turbulent atmosphere of the time. The book also explores the ways in which the poem reflects the author's personal beliefs on marriage, free union, tyranny, and gender roles. The author argues that the poem, while imperfect, offers insightful commentary on the important issues of its day and remains relevant to readers today.
