The last and largest of the three major type specimen books produced by the Kynoch Press ("all other items are either broadsheets, small leaflets or booklets, or else they take the form of lists that appear within other publications" - Caroline Archer, 'The Kynoch Press : the anatomy of a printing house, 1876-1981').
