All first editions, first printings. 8vo. Blue boards with gilt titles. Pictorial dustwrappers by Val Biro. A very good+/near fine set. Men at Arms - clean boards with clean edges. No inscriptions. Tiny abrasion & mark to front endpaper. The dustwrapper has some light edgewear with a few short closed tears. Original price of 15snet to front flap. Officers and Gentlemen - clean boards with light wear. No inscriptions. The dustwrapper has edgewear with a number of short closed tears. Original price of 12s6dnet to front flap. Unconditional surrender - clean boards with no marks to edges & no inscriptions. The dustwrapper has very light wear & a few small marks to rear panel only. Original price of 18snet to front flap. Importantly none of the volumes have toning to white titles on spine. A lovely set with bright unfaded dustwrappers particularly of note the lack of the usual fading to the red spine on the first volume - "Men at Arms" Trilogy of novels about World War II largely based on Waugh's own experiences as an army officer.
