Synopsis
This book presents the first lexicographic record in English of the Chamorro language of the Marianas Islands. It includes the Japanese-Chamorro Dictionary, the German-Chamorro Dictionary, and the Spanish-Chamorro Dictionary, which was published in Manila in 1865 and is the last work to record the spoken language before significant loss occurred.
