When we commence to make figures, we become surprised at their magnitude; and that you may not underrate the hotel consumption, you have only to consult the encyclopedias to learn that the hotels consumed sixty-two millions four 111111 dred and eighty-three thousand dollars' worth of eggs and poultry for the year 1879. There must, of course, have been a great increase since that time.
