In Kommunikation Vernetzt. 2002 möchte der DDC nicht nur vorbildliches Design präsentieren, sondern auch für ein neues, tiefer gehendes und interdisziplinäres Designverständnis eintreten. "Heute ist alles designed. Sogar die Droge", lautet eine (beabsichtigt?) scharfsinnige Aussage, die, an unauffälliger Stelle platziert, sich nur jenen erschließt, die über gute Augen verfügen. Fast genial konsequent, möchte man meinen, in der Gleichnishaftigkeit zur Warenwelt, in welcher sich auch lediglich die Scharfsichtigen den Durchblick bewahren, im Gegensatz zu jenen, die in Anbetracht der vielen schönen Dinge die Spuren ihrer Nasen an den Schaufensterscheiben hinterlassen.
