Other leading French illustrators contributed to these magazines as well, such as T.H. Hizier and Gaston Neury, but it's Apoux whose sensual --and even sadomasochistic-- work shines brightest. Folio, bound in contemporay-to-the-period leather-backed marbled boards, with minor scuffing to the panels.
