Condition: Good. 288 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth. Inscription to front endpaper. Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with light foxing. Binding has remained firm. Boards are a little rub worn, slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are mildly crushed. Light tanning to spine and edges. Boards are bowed. Book has a forward lean.

Some wear to covers and spine, mainly edges and corners, corners bumped and worn, boards showing, top and bottom of spine bumped and a little worn, surface of covers a little grubby and some wear to decoration on cover and spine, internally in good condition, pages crisp and clear but yellowing and some light foxing, frontis missing, wear to the edges of the plate opposite page 172, front end paper missing.
