Pieghevole turistico in bicromia, cm 23x44 a piena apertura (4 facciate per lato). H. C. Berann si specializzò a partire dagli anni '30 nella produzione di mappe e panorami turistici, iniziando proprio dalla strada delle Dolomiti cui dedicò diversi lavori (il primo del 1934). Questo pieghevole turistico che presenta piccoli difetti lungo le pieghe, è illustrato da due vedute e da un ampia carta-panorama dell'artista (numerata e con didascalia), riprodotti in bianco e entro con titoli a contrasto su fondo arancio. Piccoli tagli alle estremità delle pieghe, lievi segni del tempo.

Pianta a volo d'uccello della 'Isola d'Elba con segnalate le principali località: Marciana, Marciana Marina, Marina di Campo, Portoferraio, Rio nell'Elba, Capoliveri, Rio Marina e Porto Azzurro. La pianta, realizzata in bianco / grigio è decisamente fotografica ed esalta i rilievi; in basso sulla sinistra è presente una rosa dei venti con punte in azzurro, in basso sulla destra la firma del disegnatore, Berann, il titolo, in grigio, è al margine inferiore. Heinrich Caesar Berann (31 marzo 1915 4 dicembre 1999) è stato un pittore e cartografo austriaco. Ha raggiunto la fama mondiale con le sue mappe panoramiche che combinavano la cartografia moderna con la pittura classica. Il suo lavoro include mappe dei siti dei Giochi Olimpici, delle regioni montuose pubblicate sul "National Geographic Magazine" e quattro poster panoramici di parchi nazionali pubblicati dal "National Park Service" degli Stati Uniti. Una leggera patina di sporco ma in buono stato di conservazione. Con coeva cornice argentata che presenta alcuni difetti. .
