    Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. 246 pp. The first edition. Based on the materials of the archive of S. Bertenson, K. Arensky compiled it. Arensky (Arensburger-Ivanov) Konstantin Evgenievich (1905-1985) was a theatrical figure and director, pharmacologist. He graduated from the gymnasium in Narva and the University in Tartu, Estonia, where he also played in the Russian Drama Theater. He worked in the field of pharmacology in Germany and Switzerland. In 1950, he moved to the USA, to California, where he continued his research work, the results of which he published in American medical journals. Russian Russian Thought (Paris), Russkaya Zhizn (San Francisco), Novoe Russkoye Slovo (New York) newspapers collaborated with Russian Thought (Paris), Russkaya Zhizn (San Francisco), and Novoe Russkoye Slovo (New York). In San Francisco, he participated in theatrical life and staged performances at the Russian Center. He is the author of two books in Russian: "In Hollywood with V.I. Nemirovich-Danchenko" and "Letters to Hollywood". He published articles in The New Russian Word and other foreign newspapers. Sergey Lvovich Bertenson (1885-1962) was a Russian bibliographer, historian of Russian literature, theater historian, and translator. In the 1920s he worked at the Moscow Art Theater, during the Moscow Art Theater tour in the USA in 1923 he remained abroad and later participated in the creation of scripts for Hollywood.

Bertenson, who in "1918. was invited by Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko to the Moscow Art Theater, where he worked as a secretary of the directorate, the head of the troupe [5]; Later - deputy director of the Music Studio at the Art Theater [6]. He toured with a group of artists of the Moscow Art Theater in the territory of the Volunteer Army, Georgia and Western Europe, and then with the whole theater and his music studio for Europe and America " This book is about those tours he took with the troupe. In 1928 he defected and emigrated to America and eventually Hollywood, where he died in 1962. Original covers are bound in later cloth and appear to be missing the back cover.
