Bleuler-Hausheer, 1863, in-4, 23 pp, 5 pl, Broché, couverture imprimée d'origine, Deuxième cahier, sur les quatre parus, de cette étude sur les fossiles du district de Winterthour, en Suisse, par Wilhelm Gustav Adolf Biedermann (1829-1900). L'auteur présente ici ses recherches menées dans la mine de lignite d'Elgg; en annexe, il donne la première description du genre fossile Hyainailouros Sulzeri (un créodonte placentaire). Les planches en lithographie représentent ces divers fossiles. La première est rehaussée en sépia. L'ensemble a été publié de 1862 à 1873 (Les cahiers 1, 3 et 4 décrivent les tortues, le mastodonte de Cuvier et les vestiges de Veltheim). Tous ces cahiers sont rarissimes. Étiquette avec un envoi sur le plat supérieur : "à Monsieur Octave Bourrit avec bien des remerciemens pour la traduction du 1er cahier, au nom de l'auteur" signé J.M. Ziegler. Jakob Melchior Ziegler (1801-1883), natif de Winterthour et membre honoraire de la Société de géographie de Genève, contribua à la carte géologique de la Suisse. La traduction qu'il mentionne a paru en 1863*. Octave Bourrit (1811-1877), pasteur à Coligny a également été le traducteur en français de Friedrich von Tschudi. Couverture usagée, dos cassé.
