Mit eigenhändiger Widmung, Rollenbezeichnung und Unterschrift des Schauspielers an ein Fräulein Paula Batoy. Verso handschriftliches Datum 2./4. 1920 von anderer Hand. Onno kam über verschiedene Provinztheater ans Wiener Burgtheater, wo er kleinere Rollen spielte. Dann war er am Schiller-Theater Berlin und 1903-06 an den dortigen Reinhardt-Bühnen engagiert, darauf am Landestheater Prag. Danach gehörte er 20 Jahre dem Deutschen Volkstheater Wien und in Folge nochmals 25 Jahre bis zu seinem Bühnenabschied dem Burgtheater an. Nach dem Ersten Weltkrieg war er auch in einigen Stummfilmen zu sehen. Madame d'Ora (eig. Dora Ph. Kallmus 1881-1963) eröffnete nach ihrer Photographenausbildung durch Nicola Perscheid 1907 zusammen mit Arthur Benda ein Atelier in Wien. Das Studio war mit seinen Portraitaufnahmen der Wiener Künstler- und Intellektuellenszene bald sehr berühmt. Sie war dann mit zunehmendem internationalem Erfolg auch als Modephotographin tätig und unterhielt zudem enge Kontakte zur Wiener Werkstätte. Seit 1925 betrieb sie ein zweites Atelier in Paris, zog 1927 dorthin und übergab ihr Wiener Atelier an Benda, der es alleine weiterführte. Dort baute sie ihren internationalen Ruf weiter aus, arbeitete für große Modehäuser wie Chanel, Rochas u.a., und gilt heute als eine der bedeutendsten österreichischen Photographinnen des 20. Jahrhunderts. Als Jüdin mußte sie nach der deutschen Besetzung von Paris ihr Atelier aufgeben. Sie versteckte sich im unbesetzten Südfrankreich und überlebte, während ihre Schwester, mit der sie in Paris zusammenlebte, und andere Verwandte ermordet wurden. Nach dem Krieg arbeitete sie weiter als Fashionphotographin, in krassem Gegensatz dazu entstand aber auch ihre berühmte Serie von Bildern aus den Pariser Schlachthöfen. 1959 verlor sie bei einem Autounfall ihr Gedächtnis.

Im Rahmen des Friedens von Küçük-Kaynarca zur Beendigung des Russisch-Türkischen Krieges (1768-74) trat das geschwächte Osmanische Reich den bereits von österreichischen Truppen besetzten nordwestlichen Teil Moldawiens offiziell an Österreich ab, wobei in diesem Zusammenhang erstmals die Bezeichnung des Gebiets als Bukowina gebraucht wurde. Da nach Inkrafttreten des Vertrags 1775 der neue Grenzverlauf noch nicht restlos geklärt war, wurde eine bilaterale Grenzkommission berufen, an der Mehmed Tahir Agha und Vinzenz von Barco maßgeblich beteiligt waren. Wie aus der historisch bedeutsamen Korrespondenz hervorgeht, fanden die Treffen zur Abwicklung des so bezeichneten "Grenzgeschäfts" auf der österreichischen Seite in der erst 1770 auf Befehl Katharinas der Großen angelegten Münzstätte Sadhora bei Czernowitz statt, ca. 50 km südwestlich der osmanischen Grenzfestung Chotyn. Die Briefe wurden von dem Grenzdolmetscher Franz von Klezl (1737-1809), einem Absolventen der erst 1754 gegründeten k. k. orientalischen Akademie, übersetzt, der in dieser Funktion zweifellos auch an den Verhandlungen mitwirkte. Weitere österreichische Teilnehmer, die von den osmanischen Beamten erwähnt werden, waren der Orientalist und kaiserliche Geschäftsträger bei der Hohen Pforte Bernhard Freiherr von Jenisch (1734-1807) sowie der Oberstleutnant Friedrich von Mieg (1731-83), der die Bukowina und Galizien kartographierte. Alle übersetzten Dokumente können durch Numerierung zugeordnet werden, allerdings entsprechen die Nummern nicht der Chronologie, der die Detailbeschreibung folgt. - 1) Brief des Mehmed Tahir, übersetzt am 3. September 1775 (Dokument Nr. 18), mit der Ankündigung, die Anreise nach Sadhora mit dem Statthalter von Chotyn zu besprechen. - 2) Brief des Mehmed Tahir, übersetzt am 9. November 1775 (Nr. 8), in dem er erklärt, wegen eines Fiebers nicht an der nächsten Sitzung teilnehmen zu können, und um Medikamente bittet: "Nur bitte ich hochansehnlichst dieselben zu erlauben, daß, bis ich Kräffte nach dem Dorf kommen zu können erlange, mir Heilungsmittel reichen lassen; zumalen das Elend, und die Betrübniß meinen Leib dergestalten gestöret hat, daß ich es nicht genugsam zu erklären im Stand bin [.]". - 3) Brief des Mehmed Tahir, übersetzt am 1. Jänner 1776 (Nr. 15), bezüglich eines Befehlsschreibens aus Konstantinopel, das die bilaterale Arbeit bestätigte, aber den Distrikt von Chotyn ausnahm: "Gleichwie aber um durch die dermalen eingelangte Befehlschreiben uns der Befehl zugeflossen, daß man die Gränzen, außer den Terrains des Chotimer Districts sich haltend, auf eine gute Art berichtigen solle, auch von Seiten des hochansehnlichen H.en Gesandten mittels eines Post-Janitscharen denenselben ein freundschaftliches Schreiben überschicket worden ist [.]". - 4) Revers eines von Mehmed Tahir unterzeichneten Schreibens, übersetzt am 27. Jänner 1776 (Nr. 13), eine fehlende Genehmigung der Hohen Pforte für die Grenzziehung im Bereich von Siret und Suceava betreffend. Dazu passt die Abschrift eines am 12. März 1776 in Konstantinopel aufgesetzten österreichischen Berichts an die Hohe Pforte bezüglich eines Gebietstausches, konkret von 9 Dörfern im "Terraine von Chotim, welcher zwischen den Gränzen des Czernovitzer Districts, und dem Ort Rohatin sich befindet, zwischen dem Rakitna Bach und dem Pruth-Fluß sich ergiebe [.]". - 5) Brief des Statthalters von Chotyn, übersetzt am 31.
