This copy contains only 17 of its 40 color plates; 23 are missing. Condition: in addition to the missing plates, the spine ends of volume I are torn… & frayed and the inner hinges are weak & starting. The cloth of the spine of volume II is split & the ends are torn & frayed; front inner hinge is split. The bindings of both are shaken. Although the pages and remaining color plates are clean and unmarked, the overall condition in poor.
