Calf rubbed and worn especially at the joints with some cracking and some loss, small chip to the head of volume 3 and large chip, about 1/3 of spine, to volume I though most of the leather is still present and laid in loose. About good, bindings still tight, leaves clean, occasional offsetting, odd foxing to front matter only. Period bookplates to each volume. Full calf with gilt dentelles, morocco spine labels, gilt decorations, marbled endpapers. All edges marbled Ed. stereotype d'apres le procede de Firmin Didot.
