A book of two sermons, preached by the English cleric Jeremy Taylor in the mid seventeenth century while living quietly in Wales as chaplain to the Early of Carbery. Following the Restoration of Charles II, he became Bishop of Down and Connor and vice-chancellor of the University of Dublin. The text is set against caricatured images from contemporary life.

This edition printed on the 28th day of April, 1941 is limited to 350 copies. This is copy number 103. Printed on mould made paper and bound in 1/4 Morocco.
