It includes detailed accounts of physical violence, as well as specific chapters on 'Pleasure, Pain, and Propitiation', 'Sadism and Masochism', and on the 'Physical, Sexual, and Psychological Effects of Whipping'. Externally, very excellent with just slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities, in the latter's case, resulting in one fractional nick to the cloth. Wrapper is generally smart with light toning, rubbing, and edgewear, including small some closed tears. Internally, generally firmly bound with pages that are a trifle age toned, however generally bright and clean barring a few marginal handling marks.
