He compiled the notes from one of the members of the expedition, Carl Edvard af Trolle, but also took information from Andersson's and Skogman's descriptions of the same journey. The nice plates with views from Lima, Honolulu, Tahiti, Samoa, Hawaii, Buenos Aires, San Domingo and San Francisco.
