Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Inscribed by Whitlock on the front free end paper. Fold out map has a tear where it has been miss-opened. Pages slightly tanned but still bright. Comes with some printed sheets referring to Whitlock's extraordinary biography. Whitlock, a bank manager robbed his own back and escaped to Australia. He was caught and spent 11 years in a British jail. After release returned to Australia and became a renowned ornithologist and collector and many birds were named after him!
