P…rime 8 carte parzialmente distaccate con lievi tracce d'umidità e piccole mancanze marginali; cerniera anteriore distaccata; strappo alla carta K2 della seconda parte (pp. 131-132), senza perdita di testo. Ottimo stato complessivo, con leggere macchie marginali.Rara e importante edizione cinquecentesca completa del celebre commento di Simone Fornari all'Orlando Furioso, tra le più autorevoli esegesi rinascimentali del capolavoro ariostesco. Stampata dal tipografo ducale Lorenzo Torrentino, figura centrale dell'editoria fiorentina del XVI secolo sotto il patrocinio mediceo, l'opera testimonia la straordinaria fortuna critica dell'Ariosto già pochi decenni dopo la pubblicazione del Furioso. Esemplare genuino in legatura coeva, di notevole interesse per collezionisti e studiosi della letteratura italiana del Rinascimento. Book.
