O.K. wirkte hier elf Jahre bis 1963. Nach seinem Weggang wurde sie von Hermann Stuppäck im Sinne der modernen Stilpluralität, der »Gleichberechtigung des Ungleichartigen- weitergeführt. Im Laufe der Jahre lehrten hier so unterschiedliche Künstler wie die Maler Max Peiffer Watenphul, Emilio Vedova, Corneille, Heinz Trökes, die Bildhauer Giacomo Manzü, Ewald Matare, Alfred Hrdttcka, Joannis Avramidis, Marcello Mascherini, Wander Bertoni, die Architekten Clemens Holzmeister, Konrad Wachsmann, Roland Rainer, J. B. Bakema, Georges Candilis. Frei Otto, Rolf Gutbrod, Pierre Vago, Hans Hollein, die Grafiker Slavi Soucek, Kurt Moldovan, Johnny Friedlaender, Anton Lehmden, Friedrich Meck-seper, Otto Eglau und viele andere. Das Ziel der Internationalen Sommerakademie ist es, vor allem begabten jungen Menschen aus den verschiedensten Berufen - nicht nur Studierenden der Kunsthöchschulen - in einer denkbar ansprechenden Umgebung die Begegnung mit schöpferischen Persönlichkeiten unserer Zeit und konsequentes bildnerisches Arbeiten unter ihrer Anleitung zu ermöglichen.
