Dort ehelichte Haas die Tochter des Kupferstechers Johann Christian Gottfried Fritzsch. Ab 1754 ist er in Kopenhagen ansässig und wird dort 1755 zum Universitätsstecher ernannt. They were re-engraved for the Danish edition; this plan was possibly engraved by Jonas Haas, who also engraved the map of Japan.
