Juni 1874 in Hohndorf, Landkreis Habelschwerdt; 17. Oktober 1946 in Amecke/Sauerland) war ein schlesischer Dialektdichter, Schriftsteller, Journalist und Hauslehrer. Robert Karger war Lehrer in Habelschwerdt und wirkte als solcher in Glatz und in Oberschlesien. Von 1923 bis zur Vertreibung 1946 lebte er in Neurode. Von 1911 bis 1942 war er mit August Walzel Redakteur und Herausgeber des populären Volkskalenders Guda Obend, der zur Verbreitung von Gedichten und Volksmusik in Glatzer Mundart beitrug.
