Keinem der Künstler standen die vielfältigen Mittel der heutigen Werbegraphik zur Verfügung; die Stimmigkeit ihrer Figuren resultiert einfach aus unzähligen Übungsstunden Zeichnen und Malen während der Ausbildung oder der harten Schule lithographischer Tätigkeit. So vermittelt dieser farbige Bildband eine Ahnung davon, wie elegant und kreativ mehr als hundert Jahre später noch geworben werden könnte, ohne den einzigen Zweck der Werbung zu verfehlen: Umsatz und Ertrag zu bringen.
