El objetivo de esta investigación fue identificar el papel de las TI en el apoyo a la innovación en los bancos privados de Siria, que desempeñan un papel importante en la economía siria en rápido crecimiento. Se realizó una encuesta dirigida a los directores de TI y sus asistentes en siete bancos privados, que fueron elegidos entre todos los bancos privados de Siria. En total se recibieron 52 cuestionarios completados y se analizaron estadísticamente con el programa informático SPSS (Statistical Packages for Social Science). Los resultados muestran que existe una correlación positiva significativa entre la TI y el proceso de innovación en los bancos privados de Siria. Además, se constató que la TI utilizada en esos bancos desempeña un papel positivo importante en el apoyo a los procesos de innovación mediante su función de diseño de nuevos productos/servicios, el diseño de nuevos procesos, el aumento de la satisfacción del cliente y el fortalecimiento de la posición competitiva de los bancos privados de Siria. 108 pp. Spanisch.

Au total, 52 questionnaires remplis ont été reçus et analysés statistiquement à l'aide du logiciel SPSS (Statistical Packages for Social Science). Les résultats montrent qu'il existe une corrélation positive significative entre les technologies de l'information et le processus d'innovation dans les banques privées en Syrie. En outre, il a été constaté que les technologies de l'information utilisées dans ces banques jouent un rôle positif significatif dans le soutien des processus d'innovation grâce à leur rôle dans la conception de nouveaux produits/services, la conception de nouveaux processus, l'augmentation de la satisfaction des clients et le renforcement de la position concurrentielle des banques privées en Syrie.
