Jac Leirner's use packs of cigarettes, plastic bags, cash, cards and other products taken from the universe of mass consumption and gives them new meanings in his artistic world. The exhibition included works from the series "Os Cema" (1987), made with 100 bills sewn in a canvas, and "Nomes" (1989), composed of hundreds of bags that cover one wall of the exhibition space. In them, the artist explored the variety of shapes and colors of materials, incorporating issues related to the presence of color, linearity and horizon.
