The relation between their microstruc…ture and macroscopical properties such as hardness and ductility has been investigated. Tensile tests, hardness measurements, electrical conductivity sigma tests, grain size measurements in optical microscope and microstructure characterization in Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM) have all been done. The effect of alloy composition and solution heat treatment temperature and time on the microstructure and the resulting macroscopical properties (hardness, yield stress, tensile strength and ductility) was investigated. The results indicate that when alloy A3 is solution treated at 520°C for 10 minutes and then annealed for 3 hours at 175°C, its hardness, yield stress and tensile strength as well as ductility is optimised i.e.A3 has better mechanical properties and low cost of production at these conditions. It has been proved that the strengthening was solely due to precipitation particles and not grain size. 116 pp. Englisch.

In this book, TCO thin films of TiO2:Nb and TiO2:Co were made by the spray pyr…olysis technique. The films were deposited on Corning 7059, silicon and glass substrates at temperature 500 C and 475 C respectively using an alcoholic precursor solution consisting of titanium (iv) Isopropoxide with NbCl5 or Co(NO3)2. All as prepared films were amorphous, which were highly crystallized to be anatase TiO2 after air or hydrogen annealing. The TiO2:Nb films were then studied with regard to opto-electronic applications while TiO2:Co films were explored for magneto-optic applications. The influence of increasing Nb or Co dopant concentration on the electrical, optical, structural and (magneto-optical for CoxTi1-xO2) properties was investigated. The minimum resistivity, 3.36 cm, for Ti1-xNb2O2 film (x = 0.15) was obtained after 1 hour post deposition annealing in hydrogen atmosphere. Dispersion analysis using a model for dielectric susceptibility of the film consisting of two parts: Drude and Kim terms was used to simulate data. 240 pp. Englisch.

Les paramètres de sortie obtenus dans la littérature pour l'appareil étaient de 26,11mA/cm2, 1,25V, 69,89% et 22,72% pour Jsc, Voc, FF et respectivement. La cellule solaire optimisée avait une épaisseur de 100 nm, 50 nm et 300 nm pour les couches de FTO, TiO2 et CH3NH3PbI3-xClx respectivement et le rendement de l'appareil était de 25,79 mA/cm2, 1,45 V, 78,87 % et 29,56 % pour Jsc, Voc, FF et respectivement montrant une augmentation remarquable de FF de 8,98 % et 6,84 % pour le rendement de la cellule solaire. L'étude a commencé par une modélisation optique des films minces monocouches de FTO et multicouches de FTO/TiO2 sur un substrat de verre. Les films multicouches ont été caractérisés et optimisés par des simulations optiques utilisant la modélisation MATLAB basée sur les équations de Fresnel et le formalisme de la matrice de Macleod en utilisant les valeurs n et k de la littérature. Les résultats de la simulation montrent le potentiel de fabrication.

De geoptimaliseerde zonnecel had een dikte van 100nm, 50nm en 300nm voor FTO, TiO2 en CH3NH3PbI3-xClx lagen respectievelijk en het apparaat output waren 25.79mA/cm2, 1.45V, 78.87% en 29.56% voor Jsc, Voc, FF en met een opmerkelijke toename van FF met 8.98% en 6.84% voor zonnecel rendement. De studie is begonnen met het uitvoeren van optische modellering van FTO single layer en FTO/TiO2 multilayer thin films op glassubstraat. De meerlaagse films werden gekarakteriseerd en geoptimaliseerd door optische simulaties met behulp van MATLAB-modellering op basis van Fresnel-vergelijkingen en Macleod Matrix-formalisme door gebruik te maken van n- en k-waarden uit de literatuur. O estudo teve início com a primeira modelação óptica de filmes finos FTO monocamada e FTO/TiO2 multicamadas sobre substrato de vidro. Os filmes multicamadas foram caracterizados e optimizados por simulações ópticas utilizando a modelação MATLAB baseada em equações Fresnel e formalismo Macleod Matrix, empregando valores n e k da literatura.
