Dust jacket has some edgewear and creasing; protected in removable mylar sleeve to prevent further wear. Book has only minor wear; mostly a clean, tight copy. Explanatory text in German and English. Sie war auch auf journalistischem Bereich Tätig. McBride studierte am Chicago Art Instutute und der National Academy of Design in New York und später in Berlin an der Freien Universität Berlin. 2. Tony Vaccaro - Entering Germany 1944-1949 - Taschen 2001. 187 S., 20x27 cm, mit zahlreichen s/w Fotos und Fototafeln. Pappband mit orig. SU. Sehr gutes, sauberes Exemplar. Tony Vaccaro (1922 in Greensburg, Pennsylvania; 2022 in New York City) war ein US-amerikanischer Fotograf. Er war vor allem für seine zwischen 1944 und 1949 in Deutschland aufgenommenen Fotos bekannt. Nach dem Krieg war er ein bekannter Mode- und Lifestyle-Fotograf. Er wurde 1943 eingezogen und von der US-Armee 1944 nach Europa geschickt. Gegen Ende des Krieges war Vaccaro offizieller Fotograf für die Divisionszeitung. Bis 1949 fotografierte Vaccaro in Deutschland und Europa und dokumentierte so das Nachkriegsleben. Nach seiner Rückkehr in die Vereinigten Staaten arbeitete er ab 1950 für das Life-Magazin, die Zeitschrift Look und für das Magazin Flair. Sprache: de, en Size: 4°. de, en (illustrator).
