    Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. c1825, VG+ Title leaf followed by the plate list then 50 engraved, hand coloured plates (dated 1813), depicting, individuals from every walk of life in their relevant dress, from the King (George 111) to Highland Shepherds (who apparently enjoy knitting.), each accompanied by a leaf of descriptive text, printed to recto only, paper repair to margin of tp. Unusual later binding of hand coloured decorated paper on boards with calf labels to spine. The wrap around image shows a man receiving a tribute/license from a group of gentlemen, whilst behind him a group of peasants kneel in awe - dated 1789? by H. Humphrey. Slight wear to spine, otherwise in very good condition. Plates dated Jan 1813, text leaves watermarked 1825, spine label states 1813, edges uncut. (242*177 mm).
