Afrikaanse bewerking deur A. E. Carinus-Holtzhausen. 214 x 141 mm; card wrappers; pp. 78. Wrappers very darkened, and yapp edges worn; earlier owner's hand-stamp to inside of upper cover and title page. Good condition. Afrikaans text. Uncommon. - Voorwoord. "My great astonishment was to get a really delightful letter from Mr. Eric Louw, then Minister Plenipotentiary in Paris, who assured me that 'Oom Paul' [in her biography 'The Pace of the Ox'] had been well and justly portrayed, and he was glad that such a picture had been given to the outside world." - Marjorie Juta: Boundless Privilege, p. 106.
