In principio è rilegato un foglio in-4 che recita: ''Quest'edizione appartiene alla biblioteca particolare di S.A.I. Eugenio Napoleone di Francia, vice-re d'Italia, arcicancelliere di stato dell'impero francese, principe di Venezia. Seconda edizione, assai estesa rispetto alla prima di Venezia 1570 di soli 74 ff., di importante trattato di medicina, particolarmente importante sul salasso. L'Augenio (Monte Santo 1527-Padova 1603) ebbe cattedre mediche a Roma, a Torino dal 1578 al 1592, ed a Padova.
