Peder Månsson (d. 1534) var som birgittinermunk föreståndare för ?Birgitta-huset? i Rom, där han även skötte en del diplomatiska uppdrag och sedermera biskop i Västerås. I teologiskt avseende var han kritisk till katolska kyrkans förvärldsligande, men, ehuru tillsatt av Gustav Vasa personligen, anti-luthersk. Som översättare och författare var han mycket produktiv och skrev i vitt skilda ämnen. Inget tycks dock ha tryckts i hans livstid. Här citeras bl. a. ett par brev från Rom och en versifierad ironisk kommentar till de samtida utövarna av läkaryrket i Sverige, allt på svenska. Softcover / Paperback.
