Diese psychische Komplizierung wird zur Hauptquelle, zum Charakter ihrer ungeheuren Wichtigkeit in der Verbreitung, die an den Grenzpfählen der Rassen und äußeren Zivilisationen vorüberschreitet. Gegenwärtig und abseitig wird hier die Entzweiung kombiniert. Dies verhindert in manchen Fällen die objektive Deutung und führt in leeres Gerede. Nicht zufälliges, spontanes Bedürfnis gebiert den Massenkult. Eine nicht plötzlich erwachte Lust läßt dieses seltsame aller Schauspiele entstehen (bei schärfster Herausarbeitung überhaupt das einzige Schauspiel schlechtweg!), sondern ist das entscheidende Resultat schöpferischer Anschauung, primitiver Urphilosophie, die im Mittelpunkt aller psychisch-strukturellen Gemeinsamkeiten das Leben selbst meistert. Das Unvergängliche im Menschen gestaltet hier plastisch einen romantischen, frommen Gesang von Blut und Sehnsucht. Das "Paideuma", diese erhabene Entfaltung mächtiger Potenzen, wie Leo Frobenius diese absolute Welt gestaltender Empfindung nennt, kocht hier in stärkster Inbrunst.
