Eine auf dem Titelblatt abgedruckte Zeitungsnotiz des Wiener Tagblatt, die auf den Vorschlag einer Suffragette namens Ethel Stokes, weiblichen Wehrdienst in Form eines "Frauen-Volontärkorps" einzuführen, Bezug nimmt, ließ die erotische Phantasie des Künstlers aufblühen. Er zeigt uns junge Frauen mit prallen Rundungen in Uniform oder in mit Uniformteilen drapierter Unterwäsche, in anregenden und lasziven Haltungen. Die 12 Blätter tragen Titel wie: Cadettenschule, Sanität, Verpflegungsbranche, Marode, Außer Dienst, Artillerie, Husaren, Jäger.

Er studierte an der Wiener Akademie und arbeitete als Karikaturist u. Illustrator für zahlreiche österreichisch-ungarische Zeitschriften. "1888 bereiste er Rußland, den Kaukasus und den Balkan. Edges somewhat scuffed and corners somewhat bumped, upper capital with small tear. Inside somewhat fingerstained in places, silk shirts partly with creases, 2 with small marginal tears.
