In parts:"Kjære Herr Theile Takk for Deres brev…av 1. ds.Med hensyn til en spansk utgave av Kristin Lavransdatter sa har jeg hatt flere henvendelser derom, men da jeg ingen agent har i Syd-Amerika, har min forlegger her, Alfred A. Knopf Inc., 5ol Madison Avenue, overtatt a undersoke forholdene og fore forhandlingerne for mig. [.]" Translated:"Dear Mr. Theile Thank you for your letter of the 1st.With regard to a Spanish edition of Kristin Lavransdatter, I have had several inquiries about it, but as I have no agent in South America, my publisher here, Alfred A. Knopf Inc., 5ol Madison Avenue, has taken over investigating the circumstances and conducting the negotiations for me. [.]" * Her best-known work is `Kristin Lavransdatter`, a trilogy about life in Norway in the Middle Ages, portrayed through the experiences of a woman from birth until death. Its three volumes were published between 1920 and 1922.
