Hardcover. Condition: Fine. 1st Edition. Book is in Fine condition, with no signs of wear/fading/damage throughout. No shelf wear at all. Very slight mark on front cover next to Paul Simonon's name, but hardly noticeable. Spine is in Fine condition, no cracking or marks, very tight binding. All text and photographs inside are untouched and perfectly legible, colour is very bright - no fading at all. Paul Simonon's signature is on the title page in pen. Paul Simonon was the bassist for the famous English punk rock band 'The Clash', who rose to prominence in the late 70s. Simonon initially studied at an art school, however quickly became disillusioned with the style of teaching and ultimately left. It was at this point that Simonon ran into Mick Jones - the guitarist and co-founder of 'The Clash'. 'Wot No Bike' was a limited print run publication of Simonon's artwork. This is a cloth-bound hardback publication in an edition of only 1000 copies - making this a very rare collectors item. The book contains 22 new and recent paintings by Simonon, as well as being signed by Simonon himself. Simonon's paintings bring British subcultures of the 1950 to 1970s into dialogue with modernist and realist painting traditions. His artwork is an insight into his inner life, something which has never been seen before. Simonon, Paul (illustrator). Signed by Author(s).

Vintage studio still photograph from the 1980 film. A blend of fiction and music documentary, featuring extensive footage of The Clash on tour and in the studio, about a young Clash fan who leaves his job at a Soho sex shop to become a roadie for the band. The Clash would later express their dissatisfaction with the completed project due to what they considered to be racist portrayals of Black characters in the film, and printed button-badges reading "I don't want Rude Boy Clash Film" before the film's theatrical release in 1980. 10 x 8 inches. Near Fine. Carlson and Connolly, Destroy All Movies.
