The presentation is thus -- the left side is on plain paper (but heavy paper, of good quality); the right side is a color coated page with color photo tipped in; the left side presents notes and a small simple diagram showing the structure. This work was originally published in June of 1950, then enlarged and revised in October of 1951 (however the foreword is dated 1957). This copy is a later printing from 1961. BINDING/CONDITION: off-white binding; a Very Good book, with a Good slipcase; the slipcase is sun-darkened over part of the surface. Dark green coated endpapers. small 4to (about 10.5 inches tall).
