English-language edition. Single issue of this scarce, short-lived Soviet propaganda monthly. Soviet Culture Bulletin appeared for only ten issues (most, like this one, being double issues) beginning and ceasing publication in 1931; it was a temporary replacement for the agency's regular propaganda organ, V.O.K.S. (which resumed publication later in 1931). The journal appeared in English, German, French, and Russian. VOKS (Vsesoi?u?znoe obshchestvo kul?turno? svi?a?zi s zagranit?s?e?; "Soviet Union Society for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries") was the propaganda arm of the Soviet Ministry of Culture. The current issue celebrates the 14th Anniversary of the October Revolution, with contributions by Nikolai Lubimov, Andrei Bolotov, Sergei Almatov, others; also an article on "Martin Andersen Nexö in the USSR.".
