Bound in the original yellow cloth, still quite sharp and distinct black lettering to spine, internally tight, bright, clean and strong. Bright and shiny dust jacket, illustrated, moderately worn, protected by a plastic coat. 21 pp. of text, including Walker's Foreword and a full bibliography, and then 111 leaves of plates, printed on high-gloss paper. Aubrey Beardsley died way too young (1872-1898); these mostly line drawings are quite evocative and signal the coming of Art Deco in replacement of The Gilded Age.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards.
