Good at best in the publiser's plain boards with a contemporary black cloth spine with handmade paper label. Top inch of the title page is missing, but only affecting the words "A Journal," and "Journal" is still partly legible. The book is otherwise clean and bright, with hardly any foxing to the inner leaves. An uncommon volume.
