Then follow historical notes on each shipyard and ships built under private contract or licence during the war years and the 'shoulder' months of the war. Intensive research by Mitchell & Sawrer has been continually updated over the years since the first edition in 1965 and this edition includes 118 photographs and many line illustrations. Ref CCC4.
