Condition: Good. 1938. Reprinted. 123 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth covered boards. Black and white frontispiece by Joseph Simpson. Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Boards have moderate shelf wear with some rubbing, fraying and corner bumping. Some moderate marking and tanning, particularly to spine. Book has slight forward lean.

Mason, Hodder and Stoughton, 1937, First Edition, First Impression Adapted into film in 1938, this is an adventure novel set in the Northwest Frontier of British India. The book has been illustrated by Joseph Simpson. A First Edition, First Impression in fair condition. The binding is straight and tight and the lettering on the spine bright.There is some discolouration to both boards. There are two small holes to the top edge of the spine and marks and shelf wear to both edges of the spine. The toned end papers and pages are free from tears. There is a neat owners name and date to the front end paper. There is foxing to the top and fore edges and a mark to the bottom edge of the back board. The clipped dust jacket, protected in a clear, removable cover is in fair condition with marks to the front and back covers, a tear to the top edge of the front cover, loss and a tear to the top edge of the spine, nibbling to the bottom edge of the spine and a tear to the bottom edge of the back cover. Will be dispatched wrapped in bubblewrap and in a cardboard box.
