DJ shows scuffing and spotting with numerous creases/chips/tears along the top and bottom edges. Green cloth boards underneath are clean and the gilt is bright. There is some minor corner bumps and there is also a dent at the bottom edge of the front board, near the outside corner. The internal binding is good and text pages are tight. No signatures or bookplates, no library markings, no handwriting, no pages are torn or loose. Paper is toned due to age and some minor foxing is present. Both pastedowns and opposite end pages show darkened areas which is caused by the paper reacting with the dust jacket over the many decades. Uncommon to find with original dust jacket.
