Nils Erik Gjerdevik is one of a kind in Danish contemporary art - but not in the sense that he is an isolated figure as a practicing artist; on the contrary he is an inspiring artist who has worked stimulatingly since the 1980Ĉs with innovative explorations of the nature of the abstract image. Like some extremist of artistic form he continues his mission to explode the existing visual vocabulary and open up avenues for unlimited configurations of the image., Danish / English, Year2009, Illust. Hardcover. Condition: Sehr gut. 1. Auflage. Z : 240 pp., 280 ills. - The book compares works by these two artists with those by the American artist and film director Julian Schnabel (*1951) and discusses the transhistorical similarities in their painterly strategies and explicit self-staging of their role as artists. It also reflects on the reception history of the works and more broadly on the mechanisms of assigning value in art history.

Taschenbuch. Condition: Neu. Druck auf Anfrage Neuware - Printed after ordering - Competition and efficiency is at the core of economic theory. This volume collects papers of leading scholars, which extend the conventional general equilibrium model in important ways: Efficiency and price regulation are studied when markets are incomplete and existence of equilibria in such settings is proven under very general preference assumptions. The model is extended to include geographical location choice, a commodity space incorporating manufacturing imprecision and preferences for club-membership, schools and firms. Inefficiencies arising from household externalities or group membership are evaluated. Core equivalence is shown for bargaining economies. The theory of risk aversion is extended and the relation between risk taking and wealth is experimentally investigated. Other topics include determinacy in OLG with cash-in-advance constraints, income distribution and democracy in OLG, learning in OLG and in games, optimal pricing of derivative securities, the impact of heterogeneity at the individual level for aggregate consumption, and adaptive contracting in view of uncertainty.

Einband stw. minimal berieben. Widmung (an Irmelin (Nohal)) // Dänisch. Hr. Bjerregċrd Jessen standsede Saaben uden for byen, altid samme sted: 'Kom sċ Christian, hvad stopper du dog for?' startede den lidt mandhaftige, men godhjertede fru Bjerregċrd Jessen. 'Jamen Tine.!'
